What to get a Manchester Terrier or a Siamese Cat?
One family member wants a dog, another wants a cat. Its down to either a Manchester Terrier or a Siamese Cat. Which to go with. Half the family wants a dog, Half wants a cat. 2 members hate cats, everyone loves dogs.
This is kind of a hypothetical, this is my brothers family.
They can only have 1
1 member is allergic to cats, but thats the member that wants the cat the most. A child ofcourse
Terrier. You don't want to isolate the child who's allergic to cats from the family pet. That wouldn't be fair.

Why does my siamese cat keep on running from me?
I have a 9 month old siamese cat which runs off after seeing me approaching her. First i thought that she was scared of only me but now i am a little concerned as when she sees anyone approaching her she runs whether it is my mom, dad or anyone. I am really disturbed by this unusual behavior of my sweet cat. I really love her, i feed her and i kiss her. I got her an injection of not coming to heat but i am still very concerned. Please help me an tell me how can i get my cat to realize that i love her.
My experience is that kittens that have been handled often from the time they are very small, get used to it and like it. But kittens that have not been handled much, can tend to be more afraid of people. Just approach the kitten with care, treat it gently whenever you handle it, talk quietly, supply treats. Love and attention will fix the problem. But sometimes when the kitten wants to be left alone, you must respect that, so she can also be independent.
In fact, here is better advice--a quote from the Purina website: "Cats do have differing personalities ranging from those that are very outgoing and friendly to those that are shy, timid and unfriendly. Some of the personality traits are inherited, so your cat may have been born less friendly than another. In addition, the socialization period for kittens, which is the time they will bond most strongly to people, is between 3-9 weeks. So if you got your kitten when she was older, she may not have had the opportunity to become a real “people” kitty. What does help is to find what she does like, whether that is petting, play or toys and then concentrate on forming a relationship around those things."
