Silver Purple Butterfly Opinion on first day of school outfit ?
so im gonna be a freshan in high school, and for my first day of school outfit im thinking of wearing capris, with like little rips in them, with this purple slouchy-ish solid shirt (but it has a little pocket in the left corner), and a grey cardigan over it, with these flatts. Do you think this outfit is kinda plain? for a first day freshman ? , im also gonna probably wear this long-ish silver butterfly necklace, to jazz it up a little bit, so what do you think, too plain? and also what color cami should i wear underneath ? because if i wear a grey one , will it be TOO grey ? ahha -thanks i have the same question up , with pics this time , check it out
Sounds VERY cute. Maybe a light grey cami if your cardigan is a darker grey, or white if the cardigan is a light grey. Just stick to a neutral color and shoot for the cami being lighter than the cardigan, I think it would be cutest that way.
I'm not the biggest fan of capris, and ripped jeans are going out a bit I think (though I never really was a fan.) Though I have seen both cute jeans with rips and cute capris, so it really depends on the capris. I'd think that jean shorts would be a bit cuter or maybe skinny jeans, but it's really up to you. It's hard to judge without pictures.
I like the sound of the shirt. I love slouchy shirts, as do I love purple. And I absolutely love shirts with pockets, so I'm sure it's very cute. Plus, purple and grey look great together, so nice choice there.
The butterfly necklace also sounds cute. That definitely doesn't sound plain at all. Plain to me would be solid jeans and a normal t-shirt or something with plain flip flops. What you picked out is casual but still stylish.,
You don't want to be that girl that goes to school looking like a barbie with a dress and heels for the first day or something. You'll fit in and look cute, without looking like you tried too hard.
Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine and love high school. One other thing - most people don't even pay attention to someone else's clothes unless they're wearing a dress or something, no one is going to be like "She looks plain today," in their heads. But you always might get the "cute flats" or something.
Also, if you want to look a little more daring, maybe some silver eyeshadow to bring out your eyes, and do something cute with your hair - maybe curl it? Or straight hair always looks nice too. But I say if you're feeling your outfit is a bit plain, that doing something you don't do that often with your hair would help spice up your look.

Face Painting Cheek Art - Tips And Ideas For The Beginner
Face painting is one of those hobbies that is so enjoyable and so much fun. Whether at friends’ parties, charity events, fetes or other school functions, you will never be short of customers as children just love being painted. If you’re just venturing out as a face painter, then cheek designs are the perfect starting point for you. And, as Christmas is so close, there are lots of easy festive cheek ideas that you could kick off with. Let’s have a look at some ideas that you may find useful.
There are many children’s face painting books in libraries, endless pictures you can look up online and all will help to inspire you. Get a face painting practice pad and practise highlighting and shading. I believe that anyone who can doodle can create their own face paint design. Remember it can be just a few curly lines around the eyes pointing towards the hairline. Use colours that go well together. Purple, pinks, lilacs and blues look beautiful when combined. Add some silver and white highlights to make the most of the colours. It can be whatever you want it to be. Bring the colours to life and add some little dots and a touch of glitter and, hey presto, you have a design. Don’t be scared, have a go and have fun.
BUTTERFLIES: The butterfly is so popular. Even the most basic designs can look beautiful. You will need a small brush. Paint four coloured wings on the cheek then outline the wings in black. You will need to paint a line down the centre of the wings to represent the body and add the antennae with a fine brush. Look at butterfly pictures and try to copy the texture of the central line, making it thicker where needed. Think of matching colours you could use to fill in the wings, add a touch of glitter and give yourself a clap. And remember, no matter how basic your first designs are, the kiddies you will be painting will not be looking at your creation in the same critical way as you. They will be full of admiration for how beautiful it looks.
OCTOPUS: A great little fun design that boys seem to love. Start with the round head and, if you want to be a little adventurous, you could even paint some of the eight wriggly arms in all directions, some aimed towards the subject’s eyes, nose and mouth. Purple and blues are popular colours and you could also add different shades of blue down all sides for shading and fine white lines to bring the design alive. Don’t forget a couple of white dots for the eyes and, when they’re dry, a tiny black spot on top of each for a perfect finish.
Never be afraid to get creative! Why not make the eyes extra large and, with a very fine brush, add some long eyelashes? Paint on some very bright lips and a touch of red for the cheeks and you have a girly octopus! How about some large black rimmed glasses to make a brainbox octopus! There are so many ideas you could use to put your own stamp on this and you could end up with a whole range of funny girl and boy octopuses. As it is Christmas soon, add a Santa hat for fun and why not throw in a scarf and maybe even a pipe! Have a go and have fun.
