Hey my family is full of girls. Every girl has a girl, it has been like that for generations. Well my great grandfather always gets the little girls a braclet the day they are born and gets the mothers a pink rattle charm for there charm braclets that he gave us when we turned 5. Well he does not know what to get for a boy. I am having a boy due in april and he always gets jewlery and we cant think of anything for baby truett. Who by the way is named after him so he wants it to be super special since truett is prolly the last great great grandchild to see him we have had 5 generations alive all together 3 times in a row. Oh great ideas yall. And to the guy how says babies choke on stuff like that.... You dont let them wear it like mabey for 5 seconds when they get it long enough for a picture and you put it away for when there older. Thank you guys Also Truett is my great grandfathers last name. So i was thinking that engraving would be awsome.
if you're catholic a rosary would be nice. it would be neat to take with the great grandfather and find something that he really finds memmorable and precious to him and pass it on to the baby. i got a coin engraved with the last name of my grandfather for the little boys in my famiy. . . it has some value as well. or you should get something replicated and take a picture of the boy and the grandfather and get a picture of them together. . the supply of ideas is endless. if he had a certain career- say he worked in the automobile industry- get the baby a nice car that th grandfather admired (a replica of course) and have it engraved or something. a nice rattler that is small and made of gold i have seen that to many boys too. Or you could get a money clip that is really nice for one the baby is older. just find something that the grandfather values or an aspect (money, cars, sports) that he values and have that given to the boy. I would say a necklace may be nice but some guys dont wear them anymore. Good luck with the baby and Congrats!!
