Heart Dangle Beads
I was wondering how to make a certain type of earrings?
They could be studs or dangles although I think studs would work best. Anyway say you wanted a basic graphic-- like the classic I "red heart" with two letters below. You could print them out very small. I hope you are following. But how do you make this into an earring? Do you get two rectangular, thin, transparent beads and mod podge the graphic between the beads? and then super glue the sandwhich to a stud? Do they even make transparent beads like that? This is rather confusing but please help if you can.

You'd have to make sure to use a glue that is perfectly clear and will not yellow, is acid free and will not smudge a printed paper design. I would check craft stores for pre-cut clear acrylic shapes. You could also try plexiglass or even the clear plastic from product packaging.
Another thing you could try is shrink plastic (Shrinky Dinks). They make it now that you can just run through the printer (make sure you use a lighter colour than you want because it will intensify). Then you bake it and it shrinks about 40-50% and you get a hard plastic piece. You would be able to make a LOT of earrings with one sheet.
